As follow up to our last post, (“What is a Baseball Family?”), we’re diving a bit deeper into what inspired us to create the Baseball Family™ brand.

It started with our founder (a D1 college baseball mom) selling some cringe-worthy designs on Etsy. While a few are still in circulation, she wanted to pivot and create more elevated designs that captured the essence of what it means to be part of a baseball family…an actual family that shares DNA, AND an extended family of players, coaches, teammates and parents forever connected through a shared love of the game.

A Baseball Family is a community that includes the family you’re born into and the extended baseball family you adopt along the way. 
For players, it starts with a mom or dad who initiates the first backyard catch. The ones who drive to and from games and tournaments near and far. Who cheer you on from the sidelines either frozen solid or burnt to a crisp while you follow your dream.
